Workplace & culture
The TicketCo story isn't about TicketCo. Our story has always been about our love for events, and our desire to make it easy for organisers to sell tickets. This has been our mission ever since we first established TicketCo in Norway back in 2013.
About TicketCo
Since its inception in 2012, TicketCo has supported over 150,000 events, registered 4,500 organisers, and sold 35 million items, establishing itself as a rock-solid, market-standard ticketing platform tailored to the sports industry. Operating across the UK, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden, TicketCo is poised to become the next market leader in Europe within its segment.
One of TicketCo's greatest assets is the high-quality, in-depth expertise, and dedication of its staff. Previous experience across the management team includes i.a. building one of Europe’s first fully digital self-serviced banks, scaling of companies inorganically through M&A transactions in Europe and the US, and organising and operating massive 100,000+ events. The company is committed to serving its customers, providing a fulfilling work environment for its employees, and building value for its investors.
In addition to managing the future-proof TicketCo platform, TicketCo is pioneering next-generation ticketing solutions through the collaborative innovation project, Massiv. This initiative, funded and managed by TicketCo and co-funded by the Norwegian government through Innovation Norway, focuses on automating and optimising repetitive tasks for ticketing managers. This will allow them to concentrate on enhancing event management and boosting ticket sales.
TicketCo also powers and sponsors TicketingPodcast.com. This podcast brings together top industry experts who share their stories and insights, spotlighting and adding value to the unsung heroes of the event industry.
